Note By Saddam Hitler:This 1957 Bethlehem recording has on it Bill Evans playing the piano, who worked with Mingus before joining Miles Davis for Kind of Blue. This was before Ah Um, therefore the band that made Ah Um was just forming, with Dannie Richmond (drums). Also with him is Jimmy Knepper the trombone player, and Shafi Hadi will play the saxophone with him also.
Shafi Hadi (1929) played the Blues before and R&B also, with his saxophone so fat and sweet. So this is one music player that his life is still alive, and we wish to say to him, THANK YOU, if you see this.
